Jacob Lee Johnson is a Daytime Emmy Award-winning producer, editor, and screenwriter working in both Los Angeles and New York City. He has produced and edited over twenty hours of network television for NBCUniversal across their LXTV and Syfy channels, as well as primetime specials hosted by A-list actors such as Viola Davis and Helen Mirren. At just twenty-two years old, he created, produced, and edited the NBC docuseries Sincerely, GenZ, focused on elevating young diverse voices.
For nearly a decade, he has worked in story development, providing scripts, notes, and coverage on more than 1,000 projects at Disney, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Slated Inc., and HoYoverse.
While his live-action short films have won multiple festival awards including “Best Romantic Short Film” at IndieX, his animated shorts for the top-selling game Genshin Impact have each earned over 10 million views across digital platforms.
